In areas of Katanga in Ituri province, it is reported that at least five suspected members of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) have been killed and four sub-machine gun rifles, along with several rounds of ammunition, have been recovered.
The Minister of State for Defence and Veteran Affairs, Mr Jacob Oboth Oboth, congratulated Maj General Dick Olum, the overall Commander of Operation Shujja, and his commanders of five battalions for their commendable work in the recent attack on ADF rebels, which resulted in the killing of at least five suspects and the recovery of firearms and ammunition.
