Seven suspects have been remanded in connection with the murder of NGO boss Godfrey Wayengera, the Finance Director at Compassion International Uganda. Magistrate Elizabeth Peace Lamunu remanded them to Luzira prison. The court ruled that these charges, being capital offenses, can only be tried in the High Court.
