United States Condemns terror attacks on Uganda.

The United States has condemned the attack on Kampala (Uganda’s Capital) which has left at least 33 injured 9 dead and many more to be verified.

The two explosions that went off this morning in the heart of the capital at two different locations minutes after each other one at Parliamentary Avenue and the other at Central Police Station (CPS).

The US Mission to Uganda, on its official twitter handle, has extended its deepest condolences to the families that have lost their loved ones and wished a speedy recovery to those that were injured.

According to the message, The US says is support for the Ugandan people is unwavering as they work toward their shared goal of a secure, democratic, and prosperous Uganda.

The US has also issued a security alert to its officials to avoid crowds, keep a low profile, monitor local media for updates, notify friends and family of their safety as well as have their up-to-date travel documents easily accessible.

At the moment, the police bomb squad has found and detonated 3 more bombs; two around Buganda Royal Court, one under a transformer at Kooki towers

“A booming sound like that from a big gun went off. The ground shook, my ears nearly went deaf,” Peter Olupot, a bank guard who was close to the attack near parliament, told our reporters.
