Edidikan tried her best to attract me, even involving my family. Under pressure, I fathered children with her and we started a family. Meanwhile, I focused on my new company, Kim Da Twinz, leaving her and my siblings to manage much of the firm. My company gained immense popularity in Uganda as a major event planner.
In August 2020, my company’s fame peaked in Uganda. An LGBTQ group approached me for an open bar party. They openly shared their identities, which I appreciated, as it reminded me of my high school boyfriend, Hakim. Eager for some fun, I readily agreed and offered them a discount. The party at Lugazi Café and Lounge was a hit, filled with loud music and a full house. However, the noise attracted police attention, leading to a raid. Many attendees escaped, but I, along with others, were arrested and accused of engaging in same-gender activities, a serious offense during the lockdown.
