Absa Bank Uganda Donates ICT Equipment and Plants Trees at Police Training School in Kabalye

Absa Bank Uganda has demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility by donating ICT equipment worth shs44 million to the Police Training School in Kabalye. The equipment includes 17 computers and a projector.

The Managing Director of Absa Bank Uganda, Mumba Kalifungwa, highlighted the importance of facilitating education and skills development, and supporting public institutions like the Uganda Police Force.

The Commandant of the School, ACP Ezekiel Emitu, expressed appreciation for the donation and pledged to use the equipment to increase the efficiency of the officers and trainees.

The bank staff also participated in a tree planting exercise during the event to contribute towards the conservation of the environment.

The woman member of parliament for Masindi, Akiiki Asiimwe Florence, applauded the bank’s efforts and encouraged other corporate entities to follow in their footsteps towards sustainable development in the country.
