Phaneroo Night of Prayer preparations have reached a decisive stage as Phaneroo Ministries International announced a new travel partnership. The ministry has teamed up with Uganda Airlines and Kenya Airways to make travel easier for worshippers attending the annual overnight prayer event on December 31. The partnership introduces discounted airfares for believers traveling from within Uganda and abroad.
Uganda Airlines will offer a 7 percent discount across all its routes. Kenya Airways will provide a 15 percent discount on international routes and an 8 percent discount on domestic flights within Kenya. The initiative targets Phaneroo members and other Christians planning to attend the event, which ushers worshippers into 2026.
The agreement reflects the growing scale of the Phaneroo Night of Prayer and the increasing number of international participants who organize their travel around the annual gathering.
Airline discounts support rising attendance
The discounted fares will benefit believers traveling from East Africa, Southern Africa, Europe, and North America. Over the years, the Phaneroo Night of Prayer has grown into one of the region’s largest Christian gatherings. The event attracts tens of thousands of worshippers each year.
By reducing travel costs, the airline partnership removes a major barrier for long-distance travelers. Many worshippers travel specifically to seek prayer, receive spiritual guidance, and join extended sessions of worship, music, and dance. As attendance continues to grow, practical travel support has become increasingly important.
The initiative also shows how major faith-based events influence travel demand during the busy year-end period.
Final preparations at Naguru grounds
Phaneroo is completing final preparations for the Night of Prayer at its grounds in Naguru, Kampala. The venue has hosted the event for years and provides ample space for overnight prayer sessions that run into the early hours of January 1.
During the final Sunday service of 2025, Apostle Grace Lubega assured congregants that the ministry had expanded logistical arrangements. He confirmed that organizers added extra parking space and strengthened crowd management plans to handle the expected turnout.
“The preparations for the Night of Prayer are in the final stages, and we have enough space to accommodate all the people,” Apostle Lubega said.
Guest ministers and worship experience
The 2025 Phaneroo Night of Prayer will feature several guest ministers and worship leaders. Apostle Lubega confirmed that Nigerian gospel minister Ada Ehi will take part in the event. Her participation adds an international dimension to the gathering.
Music and dance remain central to the Night of Prayer experience. These elements accompany extended prayer sessions and teaching throughout the night. For many attendees, the event serves as both a spiritual retreat and a celebration marking the start of a new year.
